Use the Gradle Manifest attributes merging API

Replace Groovy Gradle Manifest attributes += map with attributes(map). Gradle 9 makes the attributes property read-only. Only discarded assignments with Manifest attribution or an unshadowed canonical jar/manifest configuration are migrated.
