Discover and propose initialized partial COMMAREA copies

Proprietary

Discover MOVE operations from incoming LINKAGE records throughout the input source set. Derive receivers, program identities, statement locations and COPY snapshots. Reuse the existing short-read and partial-copy proofs. Replace proven excessive whole-area reads with a received-length guard, receiver initialization and equal received-byte slices. Retain explicit approval of actual entry counts, required bytes, space padding and all downstream receiver uses. Unknown arrivals and unproven rejection behavior prevent changes. Locate later candidates by syntax identity after earlier replacements. Record every candidate and conditional vulnerability witness separately. No source paths, program IDs, statement lines, caller hashes or receiver names are required. Application team review remains required.

io.moderne.mainframe.security.ProposeCommareaPartialCopies

Optional

Strict JSON with version 1 and a rules array. Each rule supplies id, commarea, receivedLength, minimumEntryLength, maximumEntryLength, minimumAcceptedLength, copyPolicy, approvedExit and contractSource. The reusable approval must cover the actual incoming count, required bytes, space padding and every downstream use of each matching receiver. The recipe derives receivers and source locations. Conflicting rules for the same incoming area prevent changes. Omit this option to inventory resolved LINKAGE copy sources without edits.

mod run . --recipe=io.moderne.mainframe.security.ProposeCommareaPartialCopies

Install it once from Recipe actions, then run it on every repository under the current directory. New to the Moderne CLI? Set it up.
