Usage

You’ll need the Moderne CLI configured before running the command below.

mod run . --recipe io.moderne.java.dropwizard.boot.method.ChangeSuperType --recipe-option "targetClass=com.myorg.MyClass" --recipe-option "newSuperclass=com.myorg.NewSuperclass"

If the recipe isn’t available locally, install it with:

mod config recipes jar install io.moderne.recipe:rewrite-dropwizard:RELEASE

Options

`targetClass`required	`String`	The fully qualified name of the class whose superclass should be changed. e.g. `com.myorg.MyClass`
`newSuperclass`required	`String`	The fully qualified name of the new superclass to extend or interface to implement. e.g. `com.myorg.NewSuperclass`
`keepTypeParameters`	`Boolean`	Whether to keep existing type parameters on the target class declaration.
`convertToInterface`	`Boolean`	If the new supertype is an interface, setting this to true converts 'extends' to 'implements'.
`removeUnnecessaryOverrides`	`Boolean`	Remove method Override annotations that override methods from the old superclass but are no longer necessary with the new superclass.
